Comprises of a pre-filter to 0.3
microns followed by a 3.5 kg high grade bonded EPA filter for
hydrocarbon (organic solvent, gas) adsorption (T570H-C). Or
alternatively a pre-filter to 15-20 microns with a HEPA mini pleat
for fine particulate removal to 0.3 micron (T570H-H).
The
process of filtration, adsorption and dilution, operator exposure to
potentially hazardous substances is vastly reduced.
This unit is
designed for immediate operator protection from concentrations of
airborne contaminants whereby all gases, fumes, vapours and
particulates within the hood enclosure are filtered and cleaned air
is exhausted to the right rear of the cabinet. It is not recommended
for continual usage, i.e. production applications, particularly in
confined and/or badly ventilated areas.
